Tim Lance and Richard Baum, the owners of Bantam Pub and the soon-to-open Big Game restaurant, are planning Motorboat for Virginia-Highland.
The part sandwich shop, part dive bar, will replace Marco’s Pita, at 752 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, later this year, Eater Atlanta Wednesday first reported.
“New York, Italian, Jewish, and Middle Eastern deli sandwiches” will be served in addition to soups, salads, and “blue plate specials.”
There will be vegetarian and vegan superfood options as well.
Motorboat will include a rooftop patio and a “Blade Runner 2049 build-out.”
Lance and Baum first announced plans for the restaurant on the Bantam Pub Facebook page mid-December.
“Stay tuned for details,” according to the post.
That’s just plain male-dominated creepy to me.
