As Rodney Scott gears up to open his barbecue joint in The Met, the James Beard Award-winning chef is the main course in Episode 3 of Netflix’s Chef’s Table: BBQ. The series is available on September 2, Netflix announced Monday, alongside a trailer for the new season (below). It is the seventh season for the four-episode series and is completely centered around barbecue.

Scott, who operates two locations of his Whole Hog BBQ restaurant in Charleston and Birmingham, is expected to open his Adair Park location in September. Permitting for the new restaurant got underway in May after the plans were announced last year.

Nick Pihakis, the former CEO of Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ, is a partner on the incoming restaurant adjacent to the West End MARTA station and situated between Murphy Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway in the 1.1 million-square-foot development.
