A new authentic Mexican restaurant is coming to Georgia.
Tacos N Social de Jalisco is planned for downtown Winder, a city northeast of Atlanta and west of Athens. The restaurant will be located at 49 N Jackson Street in suite B, according to a Yelp listing.
The concept comes from Esteban Castaño Ortiz. In a translated social media post, Ortiz writes that the restaurant will celebrate the “flavors, colors and traditions of Mexico,” offering “authentic recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.” The design of the space will be inspired by the style of a Mexican grocery store, transporting visitors to Jalisco’s lively streets.
The restaurant will be located in a one-story building with several other businesses, including the Smokey Gringo restaurant and Night Sky Coffee Roasters.
