New Bar Planned for Buckhead on Roswell Road

Bloom Bar will be built out at the former Annie's Thai Castle.

A new restaurant called Bloom Bar is blossoming in Buckhead.

According to a building permit application, the plan is to remodel the building at 3195 Roswell Road NE with new interior finishes, new flooring and additional bar space.

A now-closed restaurant called Annie’s Thai Castle was formerly located at the property.

Among other changes to the 2,920-square-foot space: The bathrooms are set to be replaced, and the existing lighting will be relocated. According to the documents, the projected cost of construction is $80,000.

Construction plans show that an outdoor patio expected to seat 24 people is planned in addition to the indoor dining area.

Kwasi Mensah, who is listed as the owner, could not be reached for comment.

Harris Drafting + Design is the architectural team behind the project.

The location on Roswell Road is between a Sherwin-Williams Paint Store and a fire station, across the street from the Gentry Apartments.
