A new dining option is planned for Lenox Square.
Kelly’s Cajun Grill is planned for the Buckhead shopping mall, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta.
Kelly’s Cajun Grill first opened in 1991 in Sunrise, Florida. The restaurant is known for its signature bourbon chicken, along with other menu items like blackened chicken, blackened fish, shrimp étouffée and more. There are more than 30 locations across the U.S., including several at shopping centers operated by Simon Property Group, the firm that manages Lenox Square.
Kelly’s Cajun Grill is in the portfolio of Florida-based International Restaurant Management Group, the owner and developer of several original concepts and a franchisor of existing ones like Starbucks, Popeyes, Firehouse Subs and more.
The estimated cost of construction on the 575-square-foot space at Lenox Square is $230,000, according to the building permit application. The plans include architectural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing work. The space was formerly occupied by Taziki’s Mediterranean Café.
“KCG of Lenox, Inc.” was created in October 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. Upon opening, this would be the only Kelly’s Cajun Grill location open in the state.
Kelly’s Cajun Grill joins existing options at the Lenox Square food court like Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Chipotle, Shake Shack, GW Gyro & Wings and more.
