White Windmill, the French-Korean bakery and coffee shop, has opened its first Uptown Atlanta location at 562 Main Street NE. The grand opening on September 6 featured free cookies and pastries, a coffee party, and live DJ entertainment.

White Windmill, the French-Korean bakery and coffee shop, has officially opened in Uptown Atlanta. The new café debuted on September 6 with free pastries, cookie samples, and a live DJ celebration.

The director of operations of White Windmill, Daniel Kim, said, “Since 2000, White Windmill in Atlanta has been a place where French precision meets Korean boldness. We are proud to bring White Windmill’s innovative flavors to an energized and activated destination like Uptown and can’t wait to celebrate this opening with the community.”

White Windmill joins the lineup of restaurants and retailers at Uptown Atlanta, the 47-acre mixed-use community redeveloped by Rubenstein Partners.

Menu Spotlight: French Baked Goods and Bold Korean Flavors

The Uptown location offers many of White Windmill’s best-selling cakes, desserts, and Korean baked goods. The menu also includes TikTok-famous Supreme Croissant and Cookie Croissant, along with favorites like Red Bean Manju, Cannellini, Mocha Cookie, and a variety of breads such as Blueberry Pound Cake, Pizza Baguette, and Pain Au Raisin.

Guests can also enjoy Bungeoppang, the bakery’s popular fish-shaped pastry filled with sweetened red bean paste or custard. Beyond baked goods, the café serves coffee, tea, boba, and Korean specialty Bingsu, a shaved ice dessert topped with condensed milk, syrup, chopped fruits, and sweet red beans.

The opening adds another global flavor to Uptown Atlanta, as White Windmill introduces its signature blend of French and Korean baking to the community.
