Dunwoody welcomed a new destination last week as Le Faucheur Tearoom opened its doors. The tearoom brings a unique experience to the neighborhood, offering a mix of elegance and comfort. The destination offers premium loose-leaf teas paired with thoughtfully curated food in a European-style setting.
Le Faucheur Tearoom Opens in Metro Atlanta

On April 3, 2026, Le Faucheur Tearoom officially opened its doors in Dunwoody. It brings a refined European-inspired afternoon tea experience to metro Atlanta. The tearoom creates an elegant yet approachable space where guests can relax and enjoy the tradition of afternoon tea.
It was founded by hospitality entrepreneur Valerie Fatemi and her business partner, Kourosh. The tearoom is built on the success of Fatemi’s mobile tea business, The Cheeky TeaCup. This tea business previously catered to private events across Atlanta and became popular over time.
“Our goal is to create something that feels both timeless and approachable,” Fatemi said. “Whether it’s your first afternoon tea or your hundredth, we want every guest to feel comfortable, cared for, and a little transported.”
An Exciting Tearoom Experience

Le Faucheur Tearoom creates a space where guests can experience the traditional afternoon tea experience. The boutique tearoom offers a curated afternoon tea service that is luxurious yet welcoming. Guests can choose from the traditional tea service, special celebration packages, and private event bookings.
“Le Faucheur was created to bring a sense of occasion back to everyday life,” said Fatemi. “We wanted to design a space that feels luxurious yet welcoming—where guests can gather, celebrate, and truly enjoy the art of tea.”
Menu and Design Highlights

The menu at Le Faucheur Tearoom offers seasonal finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and handcrafted desserts. All the food offerings pair well with their premium loose-leaf teas from around the world. The mix elevates the experience guests look forward to when arriving at the tearoom.
The design at Le Faucheur Tearoom blends Victorian details and modern European styles. This helps the boutique tearoom achieve its elegant yet approachable atmosphere. The tearoom is now open Tuesday through Sunday with multiple daily seatings that are available through online reservations.
