A commercial permit application was recently filed with Cobb County for a new brunch concept, Morning Shift, to be located in the former home of Newk’s Eatery at 745 Chastain Rd Suite 1000 in Kennesaw. More than just a brunch spot, however, Morning Shift’s website reveals that the business will also house a pizza joint dubbed Night Shift. There is currently no timeline for either concept opening.
A representative of Morning Shift declined to comment for this story.
While the permit filing pegs the building at roughly 4,300 square feet and states that alcohol will be served, there isn’t much more information to be found about the dual-concept restaurant.
What we do know, though, is that Morning Shift was “created for people who love to brunch.”
