A local fast-casual Asian chain is cooking up a new location.

Tin Drum Asian Kitchen is planned for Kennesaw at 1155 Ernest W Barrett Parkway NW. The restaurant is near a newly opened Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Founder Steven Chan said the new location is expected to open in February 2025, following construction delays that pushed back the original target opening date of December.

Chan started Tin Drum Asian Kitchen in 2003. The concept is inspired by the energy and cuisine of Asian street cafés. There are currently 11 locations in Georgia, mostly in metro Atlanta.

The wide-ranging menu boasting “a thousand degrees of flavor” includes spring rolls, fried chicken sandwiches, wings, ramen and more. The menu incorporates a variety of flavors into the cuisine, including Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Indian.

Tin Drum Asian Kitchen also serves a variety of milk teas, fruit teas, mocktails, boba and coffee beverages.
