A new smoothie shop is in the works in Buford.
According to a building permit application with Gwinnett County, 88 Smoothie Bowls is planned for 3730 Buford Drive, northeast of Atlanta.
The location is in a commercial center with tenants that include Pulse Nail Spa, Navy Federal, European Wax Center and Aspen Dental. The space will be 430 square feet, according to the application.
88 Smoothie Bowls is currently in the permitting process and expected to open within a few months, co-owner Abdel Berrio told What Now Atlanta by phone. At the time of this story, the company’s website had not been published yet, but it will be 88smoothiebowls.com.
