Something sweet (and salty) is coming to Chastain Park.

A new concept called Doughnuts + Fries is planned for 4285 Roswell Road. The shop is expected to feature a variety of donuts, coffee, cookies and fries, including classic, sweet potato and funnel fries.

The shop will be located at Chastain Square, a Publix-anchored shopping center. According to a Regency Centers site map, the 1,500-square-foot space for Doughnuts + Fries is located next to Supercuts. The space was formerly occupied by Sahara Cafe, which has a remaining location in Alpharetta.

News of the upcoming business was first reported by tonetoatl.com. Doughnuts + Fries is reportedly the first restaurant venture from Thomas and Lisa Morris, the team behind LVRG + Capitalist, a fashion label with a retail space in Snellville. LVRG + Capitalist was founded in 2016.

“Our flagship gallery was designed as our community hub for self-expression, and it pushes the envelope of today’s retail expectations,” according to the brand’s website. “In addition to our label, we also offer premium products from global designers that align with our vision.”

An Instagram post showing the interior of the Doughnuts + Fries space shows pastel accents, comfortable couch seating in addition to tables and chairs, a vending machine filled with donut plush toys, and gift items available for purchase.

According to Glassdoor, an Atlanta-based business called “Doughnuts + Fries” is hiring a barista who will be responsible for preparing “a variety of coffee beverages, iced specialty, and other menu items” as well as a baker, who will “prepare doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other baked items to meet customer demand during and after the morning rush.”
