Mirae – the new, modern Asian-fusion concept in Brookhaven from husband-and-wife restaurateurs and the team behind Fūdo, John and Grace Lee – announces an expanded menu and extended hours. The restaurant first opened with a limited menu and is rolling out its full food and drink selection and additional hours starting today, Thursday, January 8.
Designed as a thoughtfully curated, coursed experience, the expanded menu builds upon favorites from the concept’s debut while introducing a broader range of shareable plates, comforting hot dishes, artful desserts and new signature offerings. Rooted in the richness of Asian culinary traditions blended with interpretations of traditional comfort dishes, the evolved menu features standouts including Seabass Chilean soy-infused with cauliflower puree, nasturtium oil & tuile; Matsukasa Yaki with king oyster mushroom, truffle shoyu, rice cracker & consumme; Miso Short Ribs with wasabi mashed potatoes; Aged Wagyu Don with goma abura, nori, Nanatsuboshi rice, yuzu cream & nama tamago; and pasta offered with a choice of bafun uni & truffle or Hokkaido scallop & wasabi cream.
Behind the bar, the beverage menu will complement the culinary team’s layered flavors and communal dining style with a deeper dive into the world of craft cocktails, a selection of sakes and sojus and a refined wine list. New additions to the menu include the Winter Blossom, blending spiced rum, lychee, citrus & falernum; and the Jade Highball, a bright mix of reposado tequila, shochu, matcha, lemon & orgeat.
To celebrate, the Mirae team invites guests to drop in tonight, Thursday, January 8, between 5-10pm for a neighborhood gathering with live music from 6-9pm, amuse bouche and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine; no RSVP required.
Dinner service will be offered Tuesday-Thursday from 5-10pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 5-11pm. Reservations are available via Resy; walk-ins welcome.
