Johns Creek mixed-use development Medley has tapped longtime Atlanta restaurant Northern China Eatery to bring its third location to the development, according to a release. This spot will be the third for the restaurant, which currently has its original location in Doraville and a second location in the Beltine, which opened last year.
Owner Fan Zhang told What Now Atlanta that the location in Johns Creek will offer a slightly more upscale design compared to the Beltline location, offering a wraparound bar with plenty of bar seating as well as a second floor.
The menu offers dumplings, pork buns, noodles, fried rice and protein-driven mains with Northern Chinese flavors. Zhang also operates The Dumpling Factory at Westside Paper.
Zhang said that after this opening, which is slated to open alongside the rest of the Medley development on October 29, the team plans to focus on out-of-state expansion.
“We appreciate our customers for their support over the years,” Zhang said. “Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
Medley will also bring in a Trader Joe’s location when it opens, along with a variety of other retail, restaurant and entertainment concepts.
