Nyamminz + Jamminz, the Jamaican restaurant nestled in the back of the Four Corners Free Market in Little Five Points, has closed.

Sunday was the last day for Nyamminz + Jamminz, Eater Atlanta Tuesday first reported.

Google also lists the restaurant as “permanently closed.”

The closure was announced in an email to patrons over the weekend.

“We will be permanently closing our doors on August 12, 2018, at 6 p.m.,” according to the email.”

“…It came with a lot of wavering thoughts, but we finally made the decision to close Nyamminz + Jamminz in [Little Five points]…”

The restaurant’s food might not be going away for good.

It seems the owners are going to keep the catering side of their business in operation, according to the announcement.
