Octane Coffee might soon be serving Atlantans even fresher java. The coffee house has plans to start roasting beans out of its Grant Park outpost.

Octane shares the space in The Jane, at 437 Memorial Drive, with The Little Tart Bakeshop.

Riffel this week filed a building permit application with City of Atlanta to buildout the “non-public” 1,132-square-foot roastery.

Currently, Octane roasts its beans out of Homewood, Alabama, at 2821 Central Avenue. The coffee house has Atlanta locations in West Midtown, Buckhead, and Grant Park.
