Old 4th Distillery on Thursday, February 8 will soft-launch a speakeasy concept called “Locker Club,” the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) Tuesday first reported.

A Facebook page for Locker Club confirms the news and details the “Prohibition-era” speakeasy.

“Locker Clubs were once a major attraction for Decatur Street in Old Fourth Ward,” according to a post on the concept’s Facebook page.

“Old 4th Distillery is reviving the term for our new concept.”

The speakeasy will replace the distillery’s tasting room and will be open nightly Thursday through Saturday from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m.

Cole Younger Just is managing the speakeasy and will oversee the cocktail program which will feature the distillery’s gin and vodka. Bourbon will be added down the road (currently in the pipeline for the distillery.)

A second Locker Club is slated to open in spring 2019 in one of Old 4th Distillery’s East Atlanta barrel-aging locations, according to Eater Atlanta.
