An Atlanta group known for entertainment-driven concepts, bars, restaurants and hospitality ventures is preparing to launch its newest concept.
Painted Park is expected to officially make its debut on the Eastside BeltLine trail on Oct. 28, 2024.
Painted Park is located in Inman Park on North Highland Avenue in the space formerly occupied by Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe at Parish.
Described as a “recreational place of assembly, green space, and a private events venue,” Painted Park will feature two interior bars, a dance floor, a floating DJ booth, a new addition overlooking the Eastside Trail, a lower-level gaming parlor, two covered patios, and an underground tunnel that connects to a BeltLine frontage namesake “Park” with a gazebo bar, outdoor TVs and firepits.
This will be the fourth concept from Painted Hospitality, which is known for The Painted Pin, The Painted Duck, and Painted Pickle.
The menu at Painted Park, created by Painted Hospitality’s Executive Chef Thomas Collins, features shareable dishes, salads, bowls, sandwiches, signature frites and weekend brunch.
The bar program will focuses on “coastal” staples and classic cocktails, local and craft beer, and artisanal wines. The program comes from Beverage Director Julian Goglia (The Pinewood Room, The Mercury, Rumi’s Kitchen, Painted Pickle), CEO and President Justin Amick (Advanced Sommelier and Certified Wine Educator) and Director of Operations Robert Nonemaker (Certified Cicerone and Certified Sommelier) curating the cocktail, wine and beer lists, respectively.
“This location is a special place for me and many members of our team,” Amick said in a news release. “It’s a real full circle moment as I was part of the opening team and GM at my family’s restaurant that was this building’s previous concept, Parish, 15 years ago. It is also where I first met and worked with 3 senior leadership members of Painted Hospitality including our Executive Chef Thomas Collins (then Sous Chef), Director of Service/Hospitality, Jessica Rucco (then server), and Director of Operations, Robert Nonemaker (then busser). It’s also where my business partner, William Stallworth, did his management training prior to us opening The Painted Pin in 2014. We are so excited to be coming home where it all started and believe we have one of the best spaces on the entire Eastside Trail.”
It will be open 5 p.m. to midnight Monday to Thursday, 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The outdoor greenspace (the “park”) closes Sunday to Thursday at 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. The party will move inside until closing time.
Painted Park will be 21+ at all times.
