UPDATE (December 28, 2017): The Stratford Kitchen + Bar To Replace Pallookaville in Avondale Estates

Pallookaville has shuttered its Avondale Estate brick-and-mortar location.

The restaurant Monday announced the news on its Facebook page.

“All of us at Pallookaville have truly enjoyed serving up delicious corn dogs and boozy shakes to you all,” according to the social media post.

“Unfortunately, we are announcing the closure of our brick-and-mortar location in Avondale Estates.”

But the restaurant known for its fair-like food isn’t closing up shop completely.

The company’s food truck will remain in operation, according to Monday’s announcement.

At one point a take-out-only version of the concept was planned for Little 5 Points, but the to-go spot never materialized.
