UPDATE (February 15, 2019): Pancake Social Could Open Any Day Now In Ponce City Market
Pancake Social, a breakfast-focused eatery serving pancakes, “good” coffee, and more, will open this winter at Ponce City Market.
The 150-seat restaurant will offer both indoor and outdoor dining and will be located near the North Avenue entrance of the Old Fourth Ward redevelopment, next to Mountain High Outfitters and facing Historic Fourth Ward Park.
Inside will be a coffee counter for orders to go and a full-service restaurant with tables and booths.
There will also be a large outdoor patio.
“Breakfast-focused favorites” will be served including pancakes, sandwiches, bowls, and fresh juices from Chef Anne Quatrano.
The restaurant has a culinary star-studded team:
- Dan Jacobson—owner of Steel Wave Ventures and formerly of Chick-fil-A
- Steven Chan, a 20-year veteran of the Atlanta restaurant industry and Founder of Tin Drum Asian Kitchen
- Anne Quatrano, James Beard Award-winning chef and owner of Bacchanalia, Star Provisions, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp at Ponce City Market, and Floataway Café
- Tony Riffel, co-founder of Octane Coffee Company and Elevator Factory.
