Perks Coffee, a new coffee shop concept, will debut November 27 in Cumberland, at 3000 Windy Hill Road SE.

Owner Jamshid Panahi and managers Jose Delpino and Samantha Anderson are coffee veterans.

For the past 10 years, they have owned two Caribou Coffee locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

But Panahi and his team wanted to expand and support the local coffee and food purveyors.

“We’ve been working closely with Smyrna-based Rev Coffee Roasters to create our own blends,” Panahi said in a prepared statement Thursday.

“In addition to serving bagels, pastries and oatmeal, we are working with a variety of exciting vendors to create a light menu of fresh, gourmet salads and sandwiches.”

The drink selections also include ice coffee with “roasted coffee ice cubes,” café glacé (a combination of coffee and ice cream) and 15 types of herbal tea.

Perks Coffee will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
