Planet Smoothie in The Reserve at LaVista Walk will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, October 21.
The community is invited to the event which will feature a live DJ, free smoothies and prize giveaways from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Lindridge-Martin Manor location, at 1169 LaVista Road NE, is the second Planet Smoothie for franchisee TuRhonda Freeman.
“I love [Atlanta] for being vibrant, diverse, and exploding with opportunities for small business owners like myself,” Freeman said in a prepared statement Monday.
The Planet Smoothie brand operates approximately 110 locations in over 20 states.
In 2015, the company was acquired by BrandsTM, a franchising company with a portfolio of 20 quick-service restaurant brands and approximately 2900 locations in 28 countries.
