The new Hawaiian-style eatery is from the owners of Zero Degrees C in Duluth.

Husband and wife team Alex and Linda Lam, alongside partner Bobby Ly, are planning a yet-to-be-named poke concept for Chastain Square.

The new restaurant will open in space formerly occupied by Filo’s Greek Grill, at 4279 Roswell Rd NE #100.

Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group sold the Filo’s Greek Grill space to the trio last week.

“Developing a restaurant concept is a dream come true,” Alex Lam told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Wednesday.

Lam and his wife in 2013 opened Zero Degrees C in Duluth “to get my feet wet in the retail food business.”

The new poke concept should open in mid-October but the details are still being worked out, he said. For starters, the concept doesn’t have a name yet.

“It’s going to be a typical ‘build-your-own’ poke bowl concept but potentially with a twist.”

Lam and his partners are considering the addition of noodle dishes like Ramen, Pho and other “Asian favorites.”

The space—already outfitted with a kitchen—will not undergo any major renovations.
