Fire Breaks Out at Tacos & Tequila, Forcing Temporary Closure
According to the official announcement, the fire at Tacos & Tequila started around 4 a.m. on Sunday, June 1. It began in the ventilation system and spread to the roof, according to Atlanta’s fire department. The fire department used a ladder truck to access the roof and remove part of the structure to control the fire.

Tacos & Tequila released a statement about the incident on Facebook. It expressed relief that no one was hurt and also thanked the local emergency services for their swift response.
The statement went on to say that it was an incredibly difficult moment for the team at the restaurant. They are committed to reopening as quickly as possible, it said.
