Arizona-based Postino Wine Bar and Cafe has its eyes on the Peach State, according to a permit application. The Northern Italy-inspired cafe first opened twenty years ago in an old 1940s post office in Phoenix, Arizona, after owners Craig and Kris DeMarco returned from vacation in Italy, determined to bring the Mediterranean country’s sidewalk cafe and wine bar culture to Phoenix.

Now, with locations throughout Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, it looks like Postino Wine Bar and Cafe is seeking to expand. The restaurant has applied for permits at 3655 Roswell Road in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Festival shopping center. According to Reporter Newspapers, the wine bar would take over the space that was once Flip Burger Boutique.

According to the permits, Postino Wine Bar and Cafe will boast a nicely sized patio — perfect for Italian-style sidewalk dining and drinking. As for the menu, expect paninis, bruschetta, cheeseboards, and of course, a hefty selection of wine from Argentina to California to, of course, Italy.
