Kennesaw and Lawrenceville later this year will be home to Q Korean BBQ Revolving Sushi, a restaurant with ties to the Cumming Korean barbecue restaurant that shares a similar name.

But unlike Cumming’s Q Korean BBQ, the two new eateries will offer conveyor-belt sushi as its extended name suggests. Q Korean BBQ is a “AYCE” (all you can eat)-style Korean Steakhouse, according to its website.

Franchisee Wu (Eva) Zhenwu is behind the planned restaurants which should open in the next month or so in Kennesaw, at 440 Ernest Barrett Pkwy, Suite 50, followed by at outpost in fall or winter 2023 in Lawrenceville, at 600 Grayson Hwy, the restauranteur Thursday told What Now Atlanta over the phone.

While the Kennesaw location is under construction — opening as part of Main Street at Town Center — the Lawrenceville location is still in permitting, slated for a more involved buildout in space previously home to a QT gas station, Zhenwu said.
