Raising Cane’s fans in Snellville can celebrate: The fast-casual chicken chain is moving forward in the city.
The restaurant is underway at 1416 Scenic Hwy N, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County.
Raising Cane’s was founded in Baton Rouge in 1996. The menu includes chicken fingers and sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and signature Cane’s Sauce. The company currently has more than 700 locations.
Raising Cane’s has been cooking up a lot of plans for the Peach State. Locations are also proposed for Dunwoody and Duluth, and the company said in 2022 it would open at least 10 locations in metro Atlanta.
The chicken chain currently has several locations open in Georgia, including in Athens, Buford, Dacula and Woodstock.
The company recently posted job listings for a restaurant manager and an assistant general manager for the upcoming Snellville restaurant.
The location will be part of a planned development called Scenic Pointe, joining the project’s other dining options: Whataburger, Miller’s Ale House and City Barbeque.
The chicken at this restaurant is horrible. The let down is that it looks great but has ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR whatsoever. The sauces are good but you shouldn’t have to slather your chicken with sauce to cover up the fact that the chicken tastes bad.
Abbi,
I have ate at Canes multiple times and I have not had the experience that you have. The chicken always comes out super hot and tender and I have never had an instance where the chicken had no flavor. Even reheating the next day its good for me.
When will the Snellville Cane’s open?
