Randy Pechin of Inman Park’s Little Spirit has purchased the Diesel Filling Station property located at 870 North Highland Avenue NE. The sale was brokered by Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group, Inc, who represented the seller.

In September 2021, What Now Atlanta broke news of Diesel Filling Station hitting the market. At the time, the seller was seeking $225,000 for the restaurant space, which covers 1,000 square-feet with an additional 750 square-feet of office and storage space, has a seating capacity of up to 75, and comes with an adjacent 20-car parking lot.

We reached out to Pechin who shared he is not yet ready to comment on the details of the concept he will open in Diesel Filling Station’s place. The opening timeline will also be announced at a later date. “We’re happy to be in the space,” he said.

Pechin opened Little Spirit in June 2018. The bar takes “cocktails seriously, not ourselves,” and is a no-reservation venue, although you can book the space for private parties. Little Spirit’s menu of craft cocktails is complemented by bar bites like Grilled Cheese, Potato Chips, and Fripper’s Beef Hot Dogs on a buttered potato bun done up with your choice of kraut, kimchi, katsu, and chili.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
