Bubble milk tea shop Rebel Teahouse is set to open October 8, 2022, in Decatur, at 225 E Ponce de Leon Ave #110, the company this week announced in a press release.
Rebel Teahouse is giving away free bubble tea to the first 50 customers in line at its Grand Opening. on Saturday.
Founded by an ICU nurse “with an obsession with boba, Rebel Teahouse seeks to shake life up by sharing good tea with great people,” according to the release.
“Bubble tea is the perfect hangout drink for students, families, and individuals of all ages,” said Christine Nguyen, founder of Rebel Teahouse. “We’ve spent over a year recipe-testing and visiting bubble tea shops nationwide. Every drink on our menu has been created and carefully tweaked for that perfect balance of flavors.”
Rebel Teahouse’s menu is headlined by its signature Rebel Drinks, such as the Dirty Rebel, topped with house-made brûlée cheese foam, and the Purple Rice Yogurt, a “popular overseas drink Rebel Teahouse has recipe-tested to perfection for the local Decatur market.”
Along its modern atmosphere and community engagement, Rebel Teahouse prides itself on sourcing and using premium, high-grade ingredients. Its Uji matcha is not only ceremonial grade — the highest quality grade of matcha — but also certified-organic and shipped directly from their supplier in Kyoto, Japan.
Rebel Teahouse will also offer authentic Vietnamese coffee with Robusta and Arabica beans from Vietnam that’s roasted by a Vietnamese woman-owned micro-roaster.
