The team behind Michelin Bib Gourmand-rated Okiboru Ramen later this year will open a Korean steakhouse in Buckhead.

Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group this week finalized a lease with the group on the space most recently home to Restaurant Eugene, at 2277 Peachtree Rd Suite A. Hopkins & Co. was set to convert the Restaurant Eugene space into Eugene and Elizabeth’s, but those plans were put on hold.

“Steve Josovitz represented the landlord but guided the new tenants during the whole process,” according to a statement from The Shumacher Group regarding the incoming restaurant from the Okiboru team.

The new concept will be an “upscale Korean-infused A5 Wagyu Steakhouse with some twists never before seen in Atlanta,” Josovitz said. Sean Park, the owner of Okiboru, did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.

Park earlier this year also leased the adjacent space, most recently occupied by Holeman & Finch, to open an Okiboru there. Holeman & Finch has since relocated to Colony Square.
