Buckhead taco joint files plans for new seating area.

Rock ‘N’ Taco has plans to add a 800-square-foot rooftop patio.

Joe Ryan, owner of the Buckhead restaurant at 3247 Roswell Road, submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Thursday to build the deck on the existing space.

“We are looking to build a [second] level deck to accommodate our patrons and improve the look of our building from the street,” a representative of the restaurant said in a letter to Special Public Interest District 9 (SPI-D9) earlier this year seeking approval for the project.

An estimated $15,000 will be spent constructing the new second-level addition, according to the permit.
