Sushi restaurant back in business after several failed health inspections.

Ru San’s has reopened in Midtown under new management.

The sushi restaurant, at 1529 Piedmont Avenue, was shut down by the Fulton County Health Department in August because of a cockroach infestation.

Under old management, the sushi joint failed health inspections consecutively for the past three years: June 2011February 2012April 2013, and July 2013.

Thai Nguyan, Ru San’s Midtown’s new owner, has remodeled the sushi joint.

“Everything is fresh with quality and service,” Nguyan told What Now Atlanta in an interview Wednesday.

Nguyan has worked with Ru Sans for over 20 years across the sushi restaurant’s other Georgia locations.
