Sagra Expected To Join East Atlanta

The new spot is seeking an alcohol license.

Sagra is aiming to open in East Atlanta at 535 Gresham Ave. SE, according to alcohol licensing paperwork recently filed with the city.

The spot will take a 1,507-square-foot space and seat 76. The expected hours of operation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday; 1 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Eric Di Nardo is behind the forthcoming restaurant. The paperwork states that Di Nardo has more than 13 years of restaurant and beverage management in Atlanta, Boston and Washington, D.C. Di Nardo currently serves as sommelier at Bacchanalia, according to Di Nardo’s LinkedIn page.

Sagra is still in the early stages of development, Di Nardo shared with What Now Atlanta. Further details are coming in the new year regarding what to expect for the restaurant.
