Salata Salad Kitchen is moving forward with plans to open in Madison Yards.

A permit application was recently submitted to the City of Atlanta to build out the restaurant in the forthcoming Fuqua development, at at 905 Memorial Dr. SE.

Construction on the “next generation salad bar” will cost an estimated $400,000, according to the application.

The 2,500-square-foot restaurant, situated in suite 706, is one of several tenants announced in February for the mixed-use project including Hooters sister concept Hoots.

Salata in 2017 revealed plans for at least 20 metro Atlanta locations.

The company recently has opened outposts in downtown, Atlantic Station, Johns Creek, and Sandy Springs.

In total there are seven Salata locations in Georgia, according to the restaurant’s website.

The Madison Yards restaurant will be the eighth.

  • I’m all for this one! I’ve been a bit skeptical about some of the offerings. (Hoots would be one, I’ll admit…)
Looking forward to a salad lunch spot, or evening grab-and-go!

Has anyone visited any of the other locations?
