Scope The Menu For Hot Dog Pete’s, Now Open In Summerhill

Hot Dog Pete’s, a new quick-service restaurant from Nick Pihakis of Jim N’ Nick’s Bar-B-Q, is now open in Summerhill.

The hot dog joint, first announced in May 2019, opened for the first time last week for dine-in including on the patio (which is shared with yet-to-open sister eatery Hero Doughnuts) as well as for takeout and delivery, at 25 Georgia Avenue SE.

The menu at Hot Dog Pete’s, shown below, features dogs cooked over charcoal, available in a vegan options, and served along with sides such as onion rings, waffle fries, and collard greens.

Floats and milkshakes round out the currently-available drink offerings. Beer is inbound.

Hot Dog Pete’s is part of a redevelopment of the Summerhill neighborhood by Carter and joins a slew of already-debuted restaurants including Halfway Crooks Beer, Junior’s Pizza, and Wood’s Chapel BBQ with others on the way including Concept, D Boca N Boca, Redacted, and Press Start.
