second flip burger boutique location confirmed

FLIP Burger Boutique, a modern “boutique” burger joint, will open a second location on the corner of Roswell and Piedmont roads in Buckhead. The tentative opening is for September.

With plans for several FLIP locations, Owners Barry Mills and Ron Stewart, along with Creative Director, Richard Blais, opened the first location at 1587 Howell Mill road on the Westside in the fall of 2008.

Taking space that is currently a Blockbuster Video, FLIP will open in the Tuxedo Festival shopping center adjacent to Hal’s and within walking distance of Tin Lizzy’s.

FLIP offers burgers, shakes and fries as well as house-made condiments that compliment their burgers, which include onion rings and cole slaw with the addition of some innovative sides.

FLIP has quickly become famous for the milkshakes they offer which include the famous Krispy Kreme, Nutella and Burnt Marshmallow and Chocolate Mole shakes.

We weren’t able to get a ‘real interview’ in our short window of time. We did however learn from ‘Tom,’ a manager at FLIP Burger on the Westside, that details have not been released because the lease has not been finalized (hey, this is called insurance just in case something gets flipped).
