Michele Sedgwick, one of the owners of the Sedgwick Restaurant Group, is taking over the historic building on 122 Marietta St and renovating it to fit Theo’s Brother’s Bakery’s second location — which will share a “vehicular connection” to another concept, Pure Taqueria.

“We have a bakery right now in Alpharetta to basically bake bread for our restaurants,” Sedgwick told What Now Atlanta (WNA). “That was about 20 years ago.” They went on to say: “It’s still a tiny little place not big enough to do anything. No inside seating, just two tables outside.” A portion of Pure Taqueria will be similar to Theo’s with all the assorted pastries and bread, coffee, and other drinks. About a third of the inside seating will be a grab and go concept with an indoor fireplace. There will also be seating outside.

They also plan to grow their own produce, creating smoothies. “It’s always fun to do something — it’s a place I’d like to go and that’s how we’ve always done our restaurants,” Sedgwick said of the restaurant, opening up in downtown Alpharetta, a neighborhood they reside in.
