San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company, an Atlanta based coffee roaster and retailer, is in the process of relocating their Poncey-Highland location located south of Ponce de Leon avenue.

Currently closed for business, the original Poncey-Highland location was at 664 North Highland Avenue. The new location is 676 North Highland Avenue and will open for business June 1.

The new location is within walking distance from the original location, separated by Bombay Gal Boutique, a new “eclectic Indian Boutique” set to open May 8.

The first SF Coffee Roasting Company coffee house opened in Atlanta on the corner of North Highland and Amsterdam Avenue in 1992, quickly establishing itself as the favorite local coffee house.

Importing handpicked Arabica beans that are roasted in small batches in the basement of their Virginia Highlands location, Owner Tanya Bond and husband Doug Bond hand select, roast, and prepare all of SF Coffee Co’s coffees.

SF Coffee is also located in Virginia Highland at 1192 North Highland Avenue which is north of Ponce de Leon avenue and in Candler Park at 1660 DeKalb Avenue.
