A food space in Sandy Springs is undergoing a revamp, being reimagined into a hub of dining and entertainment.

SocialBites is a 6,000-square-foot food hub that includes four fast-casual food brands and a full bar.

Rather than visiting different food stalls, all the concepts at SocialBites have one point of purchase, or you can order via kiosk for contactless ordering. Food is then delivered tableside.

Concepts housed at SocialBites include The Original Hot Chicken, INKED Tacos, Flametown Burgers, Pinsa Roman Pizza and BarSocial. The brands all come from the Experiential Brands portfolio.

“We wanted to create a place where it’s easy for families and friends to enjoy high-quality, craveable food while connecting with each other, without breaking the bank,” Experiential Brands founder and principal Aziz Hashim said in a news release. “SocialBites offers a variety of delicious food options, great prices and a welcoming environment filled with fun programming and entertainment that you don’t need a ticket or pay an upcharge to enjoy.”

More on each of the concepts at SocialBites:

  • The Original Hot Chicken: Known for its chicken tenders and sandwiches that are pickle-brined, southern-style, cornflake-rolled and made-to-order at six different heat levels. There are also Nashville-style cauliflower bites and a southwestern salad that can be topped with chicken or cauliflower.
  • INKED Tacos: A taqueria with meat options like carne asada, grilled chicken, birria and hot chicken, as well as vegetarian toppings.
  • Flametown Burgers: Made-to-order premium beef burgers in varieties like candied jalapeno, queso bacon and chipotle honey.
  • Pinsa Roman Pizza: Roman-style pizza with options like classic margherita, mushroom pizza featuring portobello mushroom sauce and gruyere cheese, and Nashville Hot Chicken-inspired pie.

There will also be a shareables menu with items for groups to easily split, like cauliflower bites, queso fries and onion rings. Dessert options include banana pudding and milkshakes.

The four concepts are on the main level, with BarSocial, a full bar serving craft cocktails, wine, beer, boozy milkshakes and other libations, on the second level. The bar will feature lounge-style seating, and it can be transformed into a private event space with a separate entrance and a covered outdoor patio.

Activities and entertainment will include life-sized versions of classic games like Connect 4, trivia nights, bingo and live music. The interior of the space will include two large screens, primarily used for sporting events.

SocialBites will feature three patios, two on the main level and the one upstairs exclusively for BarSocial. The front patio will feature turf, Adirondack-style chairs and a cornhole board.

The building at 6650 Roswell Road closed on July 4, 2024, to officially convert into SocialBites, which is set to debut later this month.

Prior to becoming a multi-concept food hub, the space was occupied by Huey Luey’s Mexican Kitchen & Margarita Bar.
