Souper Jenny is opening a Roswell outpost later this year, Decaturish Wednesday first reported.

Owner and Chef Jenny Levison in an email confirmed the news with What Now Atlanta.

The Roswell Souper Jenny, at 589 Atlanta Street, could open as early as October or November 2018, “depending on the construction.”

As for renderings of the forthcoming, quick-service eatery?

“They are top secret.”

Later in early-2019, Levison will most likely relocate her Decatur Souper Jenny, she said.

“Our Decatur lease is up on February 1 and at this point, we are not planning to renew.”

Levison cited parking as the culprit for the pending closure.

“The parking situation in downtown Decatur has become pretty difficult,” Levison said. “We are looking for another location in the general vicinity.”

The Decatur outpost, on West Court Square, first opened its doors in 2014.

This won’t be the first relocation for the soup and salad concept in recent years.

Levison moved the Buckhead Souper Jenny to the Atlanta History Center in 2016.
