Midtown next year will be home to El Viñedo Local, a South American tapas and coffee and wine bar, according to a press release Wednesday.

“The Local Vineyard,” as it’s translated to in English, will be situated near the Fox Theatre in the Circa 730 midrise, at 730 Peachtree Street NE.

El Viñedo Local will debut early-2020 serving coffee, South-American-inspired wine, and small plates—think empanadas and ceviche.

It is a “passion project” from Robert Kaster, a hospitality veteran whose resume includes two decades in food and beverage management with Hilton Hotels.

“We are excited that El Viñedo Local will become a part of the growing energy of Midtown, and we’re looking forward to offering our guests the ability to socialize and explore wines in a unique setting,” Kaster said in the release.

“Every wine has a story, we all have stories, this will be a place to share both.”

Hibachy Designs has been tasked with creating El Viñedo Local’s interior and Ted Bradford, an agent and partner with Gene Kansas Commercial Real Estate, represented Kaster in the deal.
