A fast-food chain that’s “all about the South” is growing in the Peach State.

Jack’s Family Restaurants appears to be working on a new location in Dublin, Georgia, according to construction documents. The one-story, 3,275-square-foot restaurant would be located at Pinehill Road and US-441. It would include a drive-thru, the plans indicate.

Jack’s began as a walk-up hamburger stand in Homewood, Alabama, in 1960. There are now more than 250 locations in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. What Now Atlanta previously reported that a location is also proposed for Hiram.

The Jack’s menu includes burgers, fried chicken, breakfast biscuits and sandwiches and milkshakes.

Construction bids on the upcoming Dublin location will be accepted until Oct. 28, 2024.

Dublin is in Laurens County, southeast of Atlanta. The town has a population of nearly 16,000. The location fits with the strategy of Jack’s Family Restaurants of opening in rural areas. About 45 percent of Jack’s restaurants are found in small towns.
