Sprinkles has shuttered its prime Lenox Square Mall storefront, according to signage posted to the now-vacant Buckhead bakery.

“We love Atlanta and plan to be back as we continue to grow Sprinkles across the country,” according to the signage.

“Thank you, ATL!”

Google has since marked the bakery as “permanently closed” and its social media sites as of Thursday have been deleted.

The store, at 3393 Peachtree Road NE, has also been removed from the company’s website.

With the closure of its Buckhead outpost, the brand no longer operates in Georgia.

Sprinkles first opened its Lenox Square doors in 2014.

Representatives for the mall and cupcake, cookie, and ice cream shop, did not immediately comment on the closure.

No word on what will open in the sweet shop’s place.

  • It was a horrible location for a walk-up cupcake joint. Had they been in Midtown, it would have actually had a user-base..
