Downtown Atlanta could be getting a new steakhouse – and some Atlantans might already be familiar with it.

PreView Steakhouse is proposed for 111 Cone Street NW, inside the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel.

The concept’s first iteration, called PreView Restaurant, was located at 2221 Peachtree Road NE at The Shops of Buckhead. The approximately 2,000-square-foot restaurant opened in 2022. In a 2022 interview, CEO Michael Efuetlateh described the concept as a “safe, upscale, grown, sexy, chill and relaxed environment.” At the time, they hoped to eventually expand into a bigger space.

Now, that idea could be coming to fruition.

PreView Steakhouse LLC was created in August 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

The 4,000-square-foot restaurant located in Downtown Atlanta would have seating for 196 guests, according to a liquor license application with the City of Atlanta. Operating hours are expected to be 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. Seventy percent of revenue would come from food sales, with the remaining 30 percent of revenue coming from alcohol. It is expected to have public parking and valet parking.

When contacted by What Now Atlanta, Efuetlateh said it was too early to comment on details such as opening timeline.
