An indoor shooting range and firearms store in Atlanta is getting a coffee bar.

Stoddard Coffee Shop will be in a converted shipping container at the West Midtown location of Stoddard’s Range and Guns, according to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta.

Documents show the coffee shop is planned for a back corner of the facility’s existing covered patio. Sketches show a La Marzocco espresso machine and blender among the equipment.

What Now Atlanta has learned that the coffee bar will likely be open for business in the next few months, but a more exact timeline might be known in the coming weeks.

In addition to the West Midtown location on Bishop Street, Stoddard’s Range and Guns has an outpost in Douglasville. The facility sells new and used guns and provides training. According to their website, the name of the business comes from a character named Ransom Stoddard in the 1962 Western film The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
