The Standard at Atlanta later this year will be home to the first-ever location of Sweet and Fresh.
The quick-service restaurant will open in suite C of the student housing mixed-use, at 708 Spring Street Street NW.
It will join the previously-announced Starbucks in one of four tenant spaces on the development’s ground-level.
Sweet and Fresh is designed with students in mind, Co-Owner Paul Hu told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
“High-speed internet will be a key component of our business,” Hu said.
“If students come and work, they’ll stay longer and order more food and drinks.”
Sweet and Fresh will focus on beverages—everything from smoothies to lemonades to soft drinks to Bubble Tea.
On the food side of things think chicken wings, Philly Cheesesteaks, and other “student-friendly” eats, according to Hu.
Food and beverage can be ordered at any table by scanning a QR-code.
The 1,600-square-foot space will feel “contemporary and modern” with bright pops of color.
Sweet and Fresh could open mid-August 2019 if all goes well with permitting with the City of Atlanta.
Hu and his team hope to “franchise to other universities if the concept is well accepted.”
