Something sweet is coming to Reynoldstown.

Kilwins is planned for 907 Memorial Drive SE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The 918-square-foot space is located at Madison Yards, a Publix-anchored shopping center east of Downtown Atlanta. The space was formerly occupied by the ice cream shop Four Fat Cows.

Kilwins began in Petoskey, Michigan, in 1947. There are now more than 160 stores across 28 states. The dessert shops sell ice cream, caramel apples, brittle, fudge and other sweet treats.

“Since 1947, Kilwins has been a celebrated part of Americana, having earned a reputation for providing high-quality chocolates, ice cream, & confections combined with excellent service,” according to the company website. “Our heritage was built on the simple premise of creating our products from the finest ingredients and providing customers with great service.”

The upcoming shop in Reynoldstown comes from existing Kilwins franchisees Christopher and Erika Perry, who acquired the Atlantic Station location of Kilwins in 2023. What Now Atlanta has reached out to the Perrys to learn more about the upcoming shop.

Other food-and-beverage tenants at Madison Yards include Daily Dose Coffee, Eden Smoothies, Taqueria Tsunami, Curry Up Now, Salata and more.
