Talkin’ Tacos is eyeing expansion in the Atlanta market. The Florida-based concept has inked a lease at 500 Peachtree Pkwy in Cumming at The Collection at Forsyth, Daryl Perez, executive director of corporate and franchise operations for Talkin’ Tacos, told What Now Atlanta.
The new location will join the existing Talkin’ Tacos spot in Buckhead to mark the second location in the Atlanta area. It is still in the early stages of development, but it is expected to open by the end of the year.
The growth in Atlanta is part of a larger expansion strategy across multiple markets. Talkin’ Tacos has discontinued its franchise program and has plans to expand its corporate-owned footprint. The brand has a location opening this summer in Nashville, and Perez said they are planning to open more locations across Florida, D.C. and Boston this year. The team has 15 locations in the pipeline for 2026, with hopes to hit 50 stores by the end of the year.
Talkin’ Tacos is known for its bold, nighttime-oriented design and menu items such as the birria tacos and flavored churros. Other menu items include burritos, quesadillas and bowls.
“We want to reach every neighborhood within the United States,” Perez said. “Our goal is to bring the Talkin’ Tacos experience to as many neighborhoods as we can. We really enjoy the kick that we get out of fulfilling our customers, building relationships with consumers, and bringing the uplifting Talkin’ Tacos experience to as many people as we can.”
