Tantra Restaurant & Lounge is slated to open this November in south Buckhead.

Taking space that was most recently Ibiza Restaurant at 2285 Peachtree Road, Tantra Restaurant and Lounge plans on bringing a unique concept to the Atlanta dining scene with an array of exotic dishes.

Max Lotfi, owner of Divan Restaurant and Hookah Lounge and general manager Laurend Abraham, will operate Tantra.

“I am elated to introduce this dynamic dining concept to Atlanta,” Tantra general manager Abraham said. “An evening out should satisfy all of the senses, and we encourage guests to savor the moment while embracing this new experience.”

Executive chef, Terry Dwyer, created Tantra’s menu which will include: foie gras pate and toasted brioche; jumbo lump crab and kuku sabzi; pan-roasted Japanese sea bass; chana dal; pomegranate braised boneless beef short rib served with potato crusted basmati rice and braised greens; grilled ostrich filet with eggplant caponata and caramelized cipollini onion; and chili seared Hawaiian tuna topped with a cilantro yogurt sauce.

Designed by Nader Tehrani of Forum Design Inc., Tantra’s walls, bar and overall design are a reflection of the Tantra symbols and comes complete with a front patio overlooking Peachtree Road.

  • Terrible place and menu. Horribly redone Ibiza restuarant reeks of the old digs. This northern african stuff is just not woring out in south buckhead. A salad and hotdog place would rock!

  • Dude…. Where did you go? NOT Tantra! It looks nothing like old Ibiza… It is all brand new and the menu is great and the cocktails WOW…. you must be having flash backs from Ibiza…
