Jack’s New Yorker Deli takes prime Buckhead space

The restaurant that serves up “New York sandwiches with a southern charm” will open their fourth location in Buckhead, according to deli owner, Jack Huffy.

Slated to open this July in suite 120 of the Terminus 200 building at 3333 Piedmont Road, construction on the 2000-square-foot deli is scheduled to begin in April.

With locations in Smyrna, Marietta, and Johns Creek, Huffy told What Now Atlanta Tuesday that Terminus was “giving great rates on rent right now.”

“The rent is almost equal to our Smyrna location,” said Huffy.

The original concept, called The New Yorker Deli located in Vinings, was purchased by Huffy in 2001 who later renamed the restaurant Jack’s New Yorker Deli.

Jack’s serves breakfast, sandwiches, and gourmet salads and although Subway is slated to open in the former Dressed space at Terminus 10, Huffy said they won’t be competition.

“We have a dinner menu and serve beer and wine,” Huffy said. “Also, 95 percent of our sandwiches are served hot.”

The location will handle a majority of the area’s catering needs which up until now, have been managed through the Smyrna location.
