A local bagel shop and breakfast café is baking up a new location.

The Bagel Hole has signed a lease for a 1,600-square-foot space at Bethany Village, a Publix-anchored shopping center in Alpharetta. The bagel shop will be located next to Marco’s Pizza. The space had been on the market since July 2024, according to leasing documents.

Gary Trentacosta, who owns The Bagel Hole with his wife Cathy Trentacosta, said the new location is expected to open in April or May 2025.

Until then, The Bagel Hole can be found in Cumming at 1810 Peachtree Parkway. The shop first opened in 2020.

The Bagel Hole menu includes a variety of bagels (from classic varieties like sesame and cinnamon raisin to fun twists like rainbow) with your choice of schmear, as well as bagel sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads and baked goods. The “Bigger” Bakers Dozen includes 14 bagels of your choice.
